**Job Summary**
CornerStone Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a Patient Access Representative, you will be responsible for performing internal medical record audits to ensure billing operations meet compliance with State and federal guidelines for accurate claims processing.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Process electronic and paper claims for Nursing (hourly and visit), Rehab, Durable Medical Equipment, and Infusion services.
- Reconcile patient accounts and work with the accounts receivable team to provide financial data, volume data, and trend analysis.
- Serve as liaison between assigned departments and patient accounts, communicating effectively with patients, payors, and other departments regarding collection of outstanding accounts.
- Maintain proper documentation and edits of work performed, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
**Requirements:**
- High School Diploma; some college hours preferred.
- 1 year billing or related experience in Home Health setting.
- In lieu of billing experience, 5 years of customer service.
- Strongly prefer 1 year of excellent phone etiquette skills and professionalism.
- Knowledge of Federal and State billing guidelines.
- High degree of interpersonal skills.
