Job Title: Credit Resolution Rep

At Children's Wisconsin, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Credit Resolution Rep, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care by resolving credit balances and underpayments.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and resolve hospital billing and professional billing credit balances
  • Review insurance underpayments to ensure maximum reimbursement from third-party payers, state programs, and contracted organizations
  • Follow up on customer inquiries related to credit balances
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, including comprehension of insurance EOBs
  • Pediatric experience a plus
  • Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children's values and support our mission and vision
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to efficiently respond to questions from patients, parents, clinic staff, and insurance companies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and technology skills required to perform duties
  • Ability to multi-task and function effectively in a team environment
