Job Description

As a Customer Support Representative at Airgas, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient resolution of customer issues and concerns. Your primary responsibility will be to handle internal and external customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and support to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and resolve assigned issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure mandatory queue coverage to meet customer service standards
  • Assist with cancellations and rejections, as well as support EspriGas TMG customer requests
  • Manage department mailboxes and serve as a communicator between Customer Service and Key Accounts
  • Collaborate with Airgas internal associates across the organization to resolve customer issues
  • Assist with overflow calls, rush deliveries, and non-strategic return labels
  • Manage FTOs and assist with escalations to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize workflow
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures properly in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to leverage research tools to execute sound decisions

Physical Demands:

  • Able to talk, hear, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel or crouch
  • Specific vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus on objects
