We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate IVF Nurse Coordinator to join our team at CCRM Fertility. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support throughout the fertility treatment process.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' medical histories, reproductive health, and any underlying conditions that may impact fertility and ensure appropriate data is entered in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians to determine suitable treatment plans for individual patients.
- Provide comprehensive education to patients on the IVF process, medications, potential side effects, and lifestyle factors that may affect treatment success.
- Offer emotional support and counseling to each patient throughout their fertility journey.
- Coordinate and schedule surgery and ART appointments, diagnostic tests, and procedures, and ensure all consents are signed and patients adhere to the treatment timeline.
- Monitor established pregnancies via ultrasonography and lab tests, through the first 8-12 weeks of pregnancy (annotated in the electronic medical record).
- Serve as a liaison between patients and the medical team, relaying vital information, test results, and treatment instructions; answering any questions or concerns promptly.
- Advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are taken into consideration and help patients make informed decisions about their care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all aspects of the IVF treatment in the electronic medical record (i.e., medication administration, test results, progress notes, physician orders, etc.).
- Ensure patients understand results, discuss potential reasons for failure, and explore alternative treatment options or modifications to the treatment plan.
- Perform intrauterine inseminations, as directed.
- Verify all communicable disease testing is complete, accurate, and appropriate.
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license (without limitations) required.
- Active BCLS/ACLS certification required.
- 3+ years RN experience preferred.
- 2+ years of previous experience in women's health, fertility, OB/GYN, preferred.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, including computer keyboards and mice; telephones; photocopiers; scanners; filing cabinets. The employee is frequently required to sit; will occasionally stand and/or walk; use hands and fingers to grasp, pick, pinch, type; and reach with hands and arms. Employees should have the visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and operation of standard office machines and equipment.
CompensationThe salary range represents the national average compensation for this position. The base salary offered will vary based on location, experience, skills, and knowledge. The pay range does not reflect the total compensation package. Our rewards may include an annual bonus, flexible work arrangements, and many other region-specific benefits.
