Job Description
  • The estimated salary for this position is $90,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience.

As a pediatric clinical pharmacist specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide expert pharmaceutical care services to patients in the pediatric department. This includes reviewing medication therapy plans, conducting medication history assessments, and advising healthcare teams on optimal medication use.

You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you may also participate in educational programs, research initiatives, and quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes.

Your expertise in pediatric pharmacology and pharmacy practice will enable you to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. You will also contribute to the development of new protocols and guidelines to improve patient safety and outcomes.

Required Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) or a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BSP) with a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required.
  • Certification as a Board-Certified Pediatric Pharmacist (BCPP) is preferred but not mandatory.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and strong analytical skills are also essential for this role.
