About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications, and patient information privacy.
  • Perform pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
  • Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards.

Ensuring Efficient Pharmacy Operations
We rely on our pharmacists to ensure the smooth operation of our pharmacies, maintaining accurate records, processing insurance claims, and managing inventory levels. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will work closely with our pharmacy manager to establish procedures that promote efficient workflow and enhance patient experience.

Requirements:
  • Maintain current knowledge and required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and community partners to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Utilize technology associated with pharmacy systems to maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory levels.

Estimated Salary Range:$145,100 - $173,900 annually based on location and experience
