Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Duke University Health System. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work alongside our experienced clinicians and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients with endocrinology-related conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and metabolic syndrome.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that optimize medication use and promote positive patient outcomes.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of guidelines and policies related to medication use and safety.
  • Conduct medication reconciliation, provide patient education, and facilitate access to medications through Duke's specialty and retail pharmacies.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be licensed to practice pharmacy in North Carolina. Previous experience in clinical pharmacy practice, particularly in endocrinology, is preferred but not required.
