Position: Electrical Construction Supervisor

Role Overview:

As an Electrical Construction Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading construction teams. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring safety, quality, and productivity throughout project execution. You will report directly to the General Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all duties associated with a Journeyman Lineman.
  • Manage crew administration and oversee equipment utilization.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and the public.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and performance standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of time and materials for assigned projects.
  • Complete mandatory training, including safety protocols.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical services sector is required.
  • OSHA Competent Person Certification is essential.
  • Proven experience in leading teams.
  • Ability to interpret plans and blueprints to ensure compliance with building codes.
  • Possession of a CDL license or the ability to obtain a CDL permit within 60 days of employment.

Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily conducted outdoors, often in varying weather conditions.
  • All safety instructions are provided in English; fluency in English is required.
  • Physical demands include lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, and crawling.
  • Work occurs in proximity to heavy machinery.
  • Maintaining safety requires acute hand-eye coordination and a constant state of alertness.

Legal Requirements:

  • Successful completion of pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screenings.
  • Provision of valid work authorization documents for E-Verify.
  • Satisfactory results from pre-employment background checks.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Completion of a pre-employment medical fit-for-duty assessment; holding or obtaining a DOT medical card is necessary.
