Project Coordinator

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in facilitating activities in an effective sequence, monitoring tasks, and ensuring their execution within defined parameters. You will also be responsible for compiling data, tracking, summarizing, and reporting results, as well as developing and/or maintaining reference information and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support through the preparation of plans, reports, letters, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Coordinate the completion of multiple projects by effectively monitoring, analyzing, and reporting project costs, schedules, and tasks.
- Monitor and track project management processes to ensure tasks are executed within defined parameters.
- Ensure activities are performed in accordance with contractual, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
- Track project documents, including contracts, payments, invoices, and completion stats for projects, using standardized processes where applicable.
- Communicate with consultants/contractors regarding procurement/accounting information.
- Communicate with program management and project team about concepts, data, and specific business needs associated with the project.
- Coordinate with State and Federal resource agencies regarding meetings, document preparation, editing, and information dissemination.
- Create data files and systems to track estimates, schedules, and budgets and provide supporting analysis for project managers and management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of three years experience in project-related work experience.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with all organizational levels as a team member, to ensure that key information on schedules, requirements, and resources is communicated to management in a clear and timely manner.
- Proficient with the use of personal computers, including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications to compile, maintain, and present information.
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate strong time management, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Familiarity with project management processes.
- Understanding of Hydro licensing, Endangered Species Act, and Clean Water Act.
- Working knowledge of SAP (Budget/Procurement/work management).
- Experience in a natural resource agency/environmental firm/energy firm.
