Job Overview

The Technical Service Specialist will be responsible for delivering expert machinery repairs to clients and end users, executing the following key responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mechanical repairs on various equipment.
  • Perform field service visits for new product installations and equipment maintenance.
  • Address customer inquiries via phone, online platforms, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Engage with customers to diagnose issues and provide guidance on proper product usage.
  • Resolve customer concerns related to product performance.
  • Process requests for the replacement of faulty components.
  • Collaborate with programmers and engineers to address system and machinery challenges, ensuring follow-up on resolutions.
  • Maintain and manage relevant documentation and records.
  • Assist in the final testing of new products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Education and Experience Requirements:

A technical degree is preferred, along with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar industry, or equivalent training and experience.

  • Advanced technical evaluation skills for troubleshooting.
  • Effective deductive reasoning skills related to mechanical and electrical functions.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands outlined are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and frequently bending and stooping.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based work.
  • Travel to client locations as required.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
