Job Summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team for a 6-month contract assignment. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for providing expert product-specific training to customers in support of our automated pharmacy products and point of use solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Training: Provide expert training that adheres to industry standards and meets customer needs.
  • Develop and Deliver Training Classes: Create and deliver training classes to meet the needs of the business, including classroom-based and virtual trainings.
  • Partner with Instructional Design Team: Collaborate with the Instructional Design team to design, develop, and deliver training that meets customer and employee needs.
  • Manage Training Project Plans: Manage classroom and/or virtual training project plans to ensure readiness of classes for new product release updates.
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction to ensure effectiveness of training, solicit feedback, and implement program changes as needed.
  • Define and Analyze Customer Challenges: Identify and analyze customer or internal challenges and recommend solutions to management.
  • Build Relationships with Subject Matter Experts: Identify and build relationships with subject matter experts to acquire product knowledge and/or troubleshoot issues.
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent Training Facilitation Skills: Demonstrate expertise in training facilitation, presentation, and development of new courses.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of technical concepts and setup in support of healthcare systems.
  • Detail-Oriented and Independent: Demonstrate attention to detail, independence, and ability to adjust to changing priorities.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience as a Hospital Pharmacy Technician: Two years of experience working as a hospital pharmacy technician.
  • Technical Experience: Two years of experience in one or more of the following areas: troubleshooting hardware and software systems, hardware break-fix support and/or repair, hardware and software product implementations, or training on hardware/software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician: Certification as a pharmacy technician.
  • Healthcare IT Experience: Experience in healthcare software product implementation and/or support, healthcare IT management, or healthcare IT consulting.
  • Training Experience: Experience creating and delivering training outside of product/technical content, such as soft skills training.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experience using LMS tools.
  • Project Management Experience: Experience in project management.
Work Conditions
  • Remote Work: The position is remote, but may require 25% or more overnight travel for meetings/trainings.
  • Work Environment: May require long periods of sitting or standing or staring at a computer screen.
