Join OHM Advisors as a Group Manager in Water Resources

Your Role at OHM Advisors-

As the Group Manager of the Water Resources Facilities (WRF) team within the Environmental and Water Resources Group (EWRG), you will oversee a dedicated team of professionals engaged in diverse water resources initiatives throughout the Midwest. Our team is involved in various projects related to water, wastewater, and stormwater, including the modeling of distribution and collection systems, asset management, stream restoration, ecological services, green infrastructure, and facility design.

The WRF team is responsible for conducting studies, design, and construction oversight for vertical assets such as storage tanks, pump stations, valve vaults, and treatment facilities.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of over 10 project managers, engineers, and construction inspectors.
  • Ensure equitable workload distribution among team members.
  • Mentor and support staff to align project assignments with their skills and interests.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship throughout project execution.
  • Foster relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business and explore cross-selling opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new client engagements.
  • Understand and articulate how OHM services meet client needs.
  • Participate actively in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Serve as a project manager or lead technical engineer for quality assurance and control projects.
  • Assist in business planning and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate group performance.
Qualifications for Success
  • Professional Engineer license required in at least one of the states where OHM operates.
  • Experience in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.
  • Strong team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration and listening skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to take initiative in addressing complex challenges.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
