Join OHM Advisors as a Group Manager of Water Resource Facilities

Your Role:
As the Group Manager for the Water Resource Facilities (WRF) team within the Environmental and Water Resources Group (EWRG), you will oversee a dedicated team of professionals engaged in diverse water resource initiatives throughout the Midwest. Our team tackles a variety of projects including water, wastewater, and stormwater management, encompassing the modeling of distribution and collection systems, asset management, ecological restoration, green infrastructure, and facility design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of over 10 project managers, engineers, and construction inspectors.
  • Ensure equitable distribution of workload among team members.
  • Mentor and support staff to align their project assignments with their skills and interests.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight during project execution.
  • Foster relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business and explore new opportunities.
  • Understand and communicate how OHM services align with client needs.
  • Participate actively in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Serve as a project manager or lead technical engineer on projects, ensuring quality assurance and control.
  • Assist in strategic business planning and monitor performance metrics.
Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer license in Michigan, Ohio (preferred), Kentucky, or Tennessee.
  • Experience in designing water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and project scheduling software.
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
