Job Summary

The Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) is tasked with selling, ordering, and showcasing products. The BAM position involves promoting new items and special offers, collaborating with clients to create precise product orders, ensuring commercial strategies are implemented across their customer base, and displaying products and packages while adhering to safe handling practices and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees, sells, and executes in a designated group of clients on daily, pre-scheduled routes, generating sales orders based on the established delivery schedule for each client to ensure the daily success of operations and directly impact the company's financial performance in terms of revenue, volume, and gross profit.
  • Implements relevant promotions and new products based on target lists, monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives, marketing campaigns, Point-Of-Sale, and commercial strategies to ensure excellence in RED (Right Execution Daily) scores for assigned clients.
  • Stocks, displays, and rotates products on shelves and displays according to established procedures and special programs.
  • Organizes and maintains the back room by stacking and arranging products by package and flavor, coordinating the return of empty pallets and shells, and managing damaged and expired products.
  • Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on displays and shelves where permitted. Rotates products. Stocks and manages Fastlane merchandisers and vendors; checks vendor operations to ensure proper functionality.
  • Develops business relationships with store personnel through regular follow-ups on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and discussions on upcoming activities.
  • Identifies and communicates any competitive issues or market activities that could affect the business (e.g., pricing, new packaging, changes in business strategy) and executes all job responsibilities in a safe manner.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Must possess effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Previous customer service experience in a retail environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
  • Strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Secondary education beyond high school is preferred.
  • High initiative and eagerness to learn.
  • Career-oriented mindset and a highly competitive spirit.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage of liability and property damage at no less than 50,000 per person/100,000 accident insurance per occurrence/50,000 property damage and 500 or less deductible effective from the first day of employment.
  • High School Education / GED.
