Rental Coordinator Job Description

The Toyota Rental Coordinator is a key member of our team, responsible for processing rental agreements from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fielding Calls and Reservations: Respond to customer inquiries, input reservations, and ensure accurate and timely processing of rental agreements.
  • Billing and Vehicle Management: Process rentals through ADP software, update vehicle status, and ensure vehicles are returned with a full tank of fuel and cleaned as needed.
  • Maintenance and Inventory Management: Monitor routine maintenance of all Toyota Rent a Car vehicles, manage necessary vehicle inventory, and ensure we have the correct amount and type of vehicles for the summer and winter seasons.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answer routine questions, and explain standard policies and procedures to customers.
  • Administrative Tasks: File documents, perform related tasks, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma (or equivalent) plus two+ years of relevant office experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Basic math skills, strong computer office skills, ability to deal courteously and efficiently with customers, valid driver's license, and good judgment.
