Arconic is actively seeking an EBS IT Project Manager to become a vital part of our Global Rolled Products (GRP) Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees the execution of various strategic information systems initiatives across multiple North American locations utilizing Oracle EBS Order to Cash (OtC).
  • Creates standardized processes to unify the OtC application landscape in anticipation of upcoming Oracle enhancements.
  • Leads production support teams, project deployment teams, and off-shore development teams.
  • Directs project team activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project outcomes.
  • Supervises support team efforts to meet service level agreements (SLA) and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Facilitates OtC solution standardization across different business units.
  • Employs Arconic Deployment Framework (ADF) project management practices to oversee daily operational and technical aspects of large-scale OtC projects.
  • Prepares and manages capital budget requests and expense forecasts.
  • Proactively oversees capital expenditure processes, including monthly forecasts for assigned projects.
  • Ensures project solutions comply with Arconic's regulatory standards.
  • Conducts risk management to mitigate project-related risks.
  • Possesses experience with B2B Commerce partnerships and EDI implementations.
  • Initiates innovative changes that yield measurable benefits.
  • Aligns ERP OtC resource requirements across GRP business units to address pressing business needs.
  • Develops and implements strategies to streamline information systems processes between GRP for efficient ERP OtC support.

Core Objectives

  • Collaborates with business leaders to prioritize project requirements and allocate resources effectively.
  • Coordinates project deliverables and timelines among various business stakeholders.
  • Establishes and nurtures relationships with third-party vendors to source qualified contract resources.
  • Works closely with IT management to balance resource capacity with project demands.
  • Maintains strong partnerships with functional business leaders, global information systems, procurement, finance, engineering, and plant leadership.
  • Encourages teams to generate and implement innovative ideas.
  • Regularly updates project steering teams and stakeholders on project progress.
  • Addresses issues promptly and escalates them as necessary.
  • Facilitates conflict resolution within teams and escalates issues appropriately.
  • Supports compliance initiatives by conducting annual system testing for adherence to IT and audit requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
  • This position is subject to regulations that require U.S. person status.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in manufacturing, quality systems, or the metals industry.
  • Expertise in EBS Order to Cash.
  • Demonstrated experience in application support and operations management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and manufacturing.
  • Effective leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies.
  • Experience with internal audit processes.
  • Knowledge of financial management and issue resolution.
  • Understanding of data management and transformation.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of ABS principles.
