Moving Consultant

The Moving Consultant is the brand ambassador for Blue Ox moving & Storage. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide top-notch service to clients. The MC will meet with clients virtually and over the phone to assess the scope of work for their move and tailor an estimate based on the specific needs of each homeowner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing estimates to clients and supporting Sales and Operations
- Conducting virtual and phone estimates using our CRM and other tools
- Recording all client correspondence in our CRM
- Logging all calls (inbound and outbound) in sales opportunity
- Creating estimates based on scope of work, recognizing that every job is different and communicating that with Ops
- Participating in Marketing + Sales Activities as needed
- Outreach to real estate/apartment offices both virtually and in person
- Answering phones + handling client needs in a timely manner
- Responding to new and existing leads in our CRM within 1 hour of receipt
- Displaying Teamwork: assist with other departments when needed; ops, claims, storage, marketing, etc...
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). A minimum of five years of sales experience and/or training is preferred. Those candidates with outside sales experience will be given preference. Experience with a Moving Company would be a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Time management skills are a must. Computer skills are required and used daily.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit intermittently for 6 to 8 hours per day or more; have auditory and speaking ability to use the telephone 6 to 8 hours per day or more; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; physical mobility and dexterity to operate office equipment; and regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
