Job Description:This part-time position offers great commissions and the opportunity to work with a great team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Optimizing occupancy by leasing units and maximizing effective lease renewal programs for existing residents.
- Leasing units through aggressive sales of property products and services.
- Conducting site tours and demonstrating property amenities, model apartments, and available apartments.
- Effectively handling telephone inquiries and conducting follow-up communications with prospects from site visits, telephone inquiries, and other sources.
- Collaborating with property staff to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
- Increasing property traffic levels, maintaining established closing ratios, and working towards achieving and exceeding budgeted occupancy percentages.
- Maintaining thorough product knowledge of the property and major competition through site visits/tours and telephone surveys.
- FOLLOWING ESTABLISHED POLICIES AND PROCEDURES regarding qualification, screening, and acceptance of applicants for residency.
- Preparing rental paperwork accurately and timely, communicating and explaining rental documents to new and existing residents, and ensuring documents are completed prior to resident move-in.
- Maintaining company customer service standards, responding to resident requests in a timely manner, and working with residents to minimize and resolve problems and complaints.
- Maintaining prospect, traffic, and leasing data and assisting with other computer data entry as needed.
- Able to work weekends.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Proficient knowledge of the real estate industry, property management principles, and relevant legislation.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills.
- Able to work as a team.
- Available to work extended hours.
$40,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience.
