Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative mixed reality software applications that create immersive training experiences, blending physical and digital environments.
- Collaborate with external vendors to integrate various VR/AR/MR hardware, enhancing our training devices and expanding product offerings.
- Participate in an agile, test-driven, and multidisciplinary team, engaging in all aspects of software development including communication, requirements gathering, research, design, coding, testing, integration, peer review, documentation, maintenance, and user support.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in C++/C/C# programming languages.
- Experience with virtual, augmented, or mixed reality technologies.
- Background in game or graphics programming, including familiarity with Unreal, Unity, OpenGL, Direct3D, or GLSL.
- Strong skills in algorithm development and object-oriented design.
- Solid understanding of geometry and mathematics.
- Experience in developing applications for virtual/augmented/mixed reality.
- Familiarity with VR SDKs such as OpenVR or OpenXR.
- Knowledge of desktop aviation simulation platforms like X-Plane, Prepar3D, or MSFS 2020.
- Experience in UI design and implementation across various technologies.
- Skills in 3D modeling and animation.
- Understanding of camera systems and avionics development.
- Knowledge of design patterns and multi-threading.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
- Experience with Lean/Agile software development methodologies.
