Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Centre Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure technologies, with a focus on server, network, and Citrix troubleshooting and resolution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and operating computer systems, network infrastructure, and servers across multiple client environments. They will also administer, implement, and maintain server operating systems and software, as well as manage virtual servers using ESXi and Hyper-V hypervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and configuration of computer systems, network infrastructure, and servers
  • Administration, implementation, and maintenance of server operating systems and software
  • Management of virtual servers using ESXi and Hyper-V hypervisors
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of software, operating system, and networking problems
  • Scheduling, performing, and monitoring system backups and data recoveries
  • Problem management and resolution of issues in a timely manner
  • Server capacity, storage planning, and database performance
  • Establishment and implementation of standards for compatibility between hardware and software
  • Mentoring and guiding Tier-I Team members as needed
  • Documentation of work completed in a timely manner and improvement of existing documentation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on IT experience
  • Certifications: VMware VCP and AZ-900 or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Expert-level administration experience with Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2/2016/2019, Office 365 Admin portal, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Windows Administration tools
  • Experience with Enterprise Storage solutions, Hyperconverged Technology, and Citrix Technologies

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
  • Occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds) may be required
  • Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities/injuries to perform the essential functions of this role
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate
  • Frequent local travel required
