Software Development Engineer

This is a challenging opportunity to join CymSTAR as a Software Development Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing simulation software for training devices and other applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in defining and developing software requirements and designs.
- Review program specifications and identify interface requirements between software and hardware.
- Perform subsystem test, integration test, and acceptance test of software products.
- Troubleshoot software to identify and solve problems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to accomplish development and production tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent.
- Up to 3 years related experience and/or training.
- Ability to comprehend and apply basic trigonometry and calculus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and FORTRAN.
- Experience with software development environments, version control systems, and testing tools.
