Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional to become a part of our team as a Microsoft Teams Room Systems Administrator with a strong background in Crestron technology. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Network Campus LAN environments.

This role is essential for overseeing the configuration, upkeep, and enhancement of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) integrated with Crestron systems throughout our organization.

The successful applicant will demonstrate extensive technical expertise in Microsoft and Crestron solutions, coupled with a dedication to providing exceptional collaborative experiences.

Previous experience in customer service within a healthcare and research setting is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and implement Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) integrated with Crestron hardware and software, ensuring full compatibility and functionality.
  • Work alongside Crestron programmers and vendor partners to tailor and enhance room control interfaces for MTR systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and updates on MTR and Crestron systems to guarantee reliability, security, and performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges related to MTR, Crestron hardware, software, and integrations.
  • Coordinate with IT support teams and Crestron technical support to escalate and resolve complex issues promptly.
  • Deliver training and assistance to end-users regarding MTR and Crestron functionalities, operations, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor performance metrics of MTR and Crestron systems, analyze data, and implement necessary enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MTR and Crestron systems with other collaboration tools and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in configuring, deploying, and managing Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) integrated with Crestron technology.
  • Thorough knowledge of Crestron control systems, including programming and configuration using Crestron Toolbox or Crestron Studio.
  • Proven experience with LAN Networking hardware and comfort with network hardware modifications.
  • Familiarity with switch port configurations.
  • Strong grasp of network infrastructure, TCP/IP protocols, and audio/video conferencing technologies.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a Windows environment, particularly concerning MTR and Crestron systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact with executive-level staff in high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism.
  • Relevant certifications such as Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP) or Crestron Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) are highly desirable.

Educational Background and Experience:

  • Master's degree with two (2) years of full-time experience in computer system hardware, operating systems, software, enterprise networking, or computer systems security; or
  • Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of full-time experience as a Network Technician; or
  • Bachelor's degree with four (4) years of full-time experience in relevant fields; or
  • Associate's degree with six (6) years of full-time experience in relevant fields; or
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with eight (8) years of full-time experience in relevant fields.

Required degrees must be obtained from accredited institutions recognized by Roswell Park Cancer Institute.


Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
Proven expertise in configuring, deploying, and managing Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) integrated with Crestron technology.
In-depth knowledge of Crestron control systems, including programming and configuration using Crestron Toolbox or Crestron Studio.
Proven expertise with LAN Networking hardware and comfort with network hardware modifications.
Familiarity with switch port configurations.
Strong grasp of network infrastructure, TCP/IP protocols, and audio/video conferencing technologies.
