  • Knowledgeable of application architecture with basic skills in technical documentation of application system installations and moderately complex system flows.
  • Ability to develop test plans for moderately to highly complex applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of database configurations, complex queries, and elements.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify ways to enhance or improve programs, processes, and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Able to lead small to medium-sized internal project work with moderate complexity and moderate risk.
  • Demonstrated ability to network collaboratively with line managers and supervisors, as well as high-level individual contributors.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services -or- equivalent educ/experience.
  • Epic certification (must be kept up to date) within 90 days of hire.
  • Applicable Epic Certification within 3 months of last class required for certification (must be kept up to date) upon hire.
  • Some application suites require advanced current clinical knowledge and expertise (Pharmacist, Registered Nurse, LPN, Therapist) as demonstrated by a current state license upon hire.
  • 4 years industry-related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working Knowledge in managed care.
  • Tapestry Certification.
  • Any certifications relating to software applications, technology infrastructure, and/or clinical specializations (must be kept up to date) upon hire.
  • 3 years Healthcare IS experience.
  • Epic experience.
