Manufacturing Engineer Lead

As a Manufacturing Engineer Lead at SMC Corporation of America, you will be responsible for defining and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure high-quality products and efficient production. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure high-quality products and efficient production.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with design engineers to select manufacturing best practices and optimize production processes.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner.
- Provide technical expertise and assistance to internal and external customers.
- Develop and maintain procedures to ensure quality and support ISO registrations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Proficient with CAD software and common manufacturing practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sheet metal fabrication experience with punch press and press brake.
- Tube forming experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
