Position Overview:
This role is centered around the design, development, implementation, testing, and validation of control systems that facilitate autonomous driving capabilities in vehicles and robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate technologies and product designs to ensure compliance with scientific and engineering principles, as well as company standards and customer requirements.
2. Support the development of innovative components and modules from initial concept through to full development, including design engineering, validation, prototyping, testing, and evaluation.
3. Design and conduct research programs applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, electronics, heat transfer, and materials science.
4. Contribute innovative ideas for products and processes while sharing insights with team members.
5. Identify gaps in current product or manufacturing technology to guide future research and development efforts.
6. Analyze engineering results and propose product modifications to enhance component and system performance.
7. Maintain project schedules by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving issues.
8. Specify requests and coordinate subcontracted work to ensure timely completion.
9. Collaborate with project engineers to clarify and resolve design issues.
10. Maintain organized filing systems for all project-related information.

Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in the automotive sector.
- Experience in vehicle testing of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) or Autonomous Driving (AD) systems.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Solid foundation in control theory, dynamics, and kinematics.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Aerospace, or Robotics.
- Preferred experience with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.

Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with automotive development tools such as CANape, CANalyzer, and Matlab/Simulink.
- Knowledge of ADAS/AD systems.
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Work Environment:
This position may require occasional driving of test vehicles, necessitating a valid driver's license and adherence to safety regulations. The role involves a normal amount of sitting or standing and the ability to conduct work in an office environment.
