Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Restoration Technician to join our team at ServiceMaster Cleaning and Restoration by Roome. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for performing water, fire, smoke damage, and mold remediation services to customers in need of emergency restoration and disaster recovery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform water, fire, smoke damage, and mold remediation services to customers in need of emergency restoration and disaster recovery services.
  • Set up and monitor drying and/or odor neutralization equipment to ensure effective and efficient restoration processes.
  • Work as a team member to streamline the mitigation process and provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform various tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects, and standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Use phone applications to document progress of mitigation jobs, including notes, pictures, contents tracking, and drying logs.
  • Wear respirators, which are used in certain situations, and ensure they seal to your face for safety reasons.
  • Work inside or outside during all weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Ability to be available for our 24-hour rotating on-call schedule.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.
  • Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform, and a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and lift, squat, crawl, and crouch as required.
  • Must be able to work with phone applications to document progress of mitigation jobs.
  • Must be able to wear respirators and ensure they seal to your face for safety reasons.
