Position Title: Residential Services Coordinator
Department: Adult Disability Services
Reports To: Program Support Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
Role Summary: The Residential Services Coordinator is responsible for leading and supervising the Residential Counselors and the designated Cluster Home staff teams. This role ensures the effective operation of the home while delivering high-quality care that aligns with person-centered planning for all individuals. Additionally, the Coordinator fosters and nurtures supportive relationships with community partners.
Leadership and Team Development: Provide clear guidance and supervision to empower and enhance staff performance within the MAB community.
- Design and implement staff schedules to maintain required ratios as outlined in safety protocols.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of payroll and attendance documentation.
- Facilitate training and provide electronic access to resources for staff to effectively implement policies and procedures.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and follow up as necessary.
- Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and assessment of new staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Conduct regular one-on-one supervision sessions with staff, convene monthly team meetings, and provide ongoing support.
- Engage in crisis intervention and offer on-call support as required.
Quality Management: Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring adherence to medical, financial, and clinical standards.
Operational Duties:
- Ensure timely procurement of food and household supplies.
- Facilitate transportation for participants and ensure staff have necessary resources.
- Manage maintenance and repair needs for the home and vehicles.
- Maintain and update training documentation.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure staff training and adherence to program policies, including documentation and confidentiality.
- Monitor financial records and manage petty cash.
- Assist participants with financial responsibilities.
- Report any discrepancies to the Program Support Director.
Health Coordination: Advocate for and coordinate healthcare services for participants.
- Supervise medication administration practices and ensure all medical appointments are scheduled and attended.
- Provide necessary training for staff regarding health protocols.
Person-Centered Approach: Promote a respectful and supportive environment that prioritizes participants' choices and needs.
- Engage in case reviews and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
- Advocate for participants to enhance their quality of life.
Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and participant care teams.
- Foster connections with MAB colleagues and external partners to support the community.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and implement regulatory requirements.
- Team-oriented with strong leadership capabilities.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven supervisory experience is essential.
- Proficient with technology and willingness to learn new software.
