Residential Manager - LGBTQ+ Youth Program

About Us: The City of Providence is dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ youth. Our semi-independent living initiative aims to support young individuals who have faced various challenges and trauma.

Position Overview:

The Residential Manager is integral to the well-being and safety of our residents. In collaboration with our dedicated team, you will manage the daily functions of the program, oversee staff, and execute personalized treatment strategies for the youth entrusted to our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee program personnel and ensure the protection and support of residents
  • Work alongside the management team to foster a healing atmosphere for LGBTQ+ youth
  • Design and implement daily activities and group sessions for residents
  • Evaluate the residential program and adhere to Trauma Systems Therapy principles
  • Ensure adherence to agency and state regulations, including necessary training
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a relevant setting
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
