The Role

The Senior Construction Planner is essential in facilitating projects valued at over $100 million by developing and overseeing project timelines, delivering technical insights, and assessing updates to guarantee project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert scheduling assistance for designated projects
  • Manage timelines for multiple concurrent projects
  • Create, track, and revise project schedules containing over 5000 tasks each
  • Engage in the revision of master schedules and enterprise reports
  • Support the formulation of project baseline schedules and resource allocation
  • Generate reports on project advancements and conduct necessary analyses
  • Ensure adherence to company scheduling protocols
  • Deliver training on scheduling methodologies and practices
  • Facilitate CPM scheduling training for team members
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Lean Pull Planning principles

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 6 years of scheduling experience in large-scale construction endeavors
  • Proficient in preparing schedules for building projects and high-rise developments
  • Expertise in CPM scheduling and familiarity with software such as Primavera P6
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong computer proficiency with knowledge of scheduling tools
  • Capability to analyze data effectively and propose solutions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

Working Conditions

This position is primarily office-based, requiring extended periods of sitting, along with walking and occasional site visits. The role necessitates good vision and fine motor skills.
