Candidate Qualifications

  • Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in Wisconsin is required.

About the Transplant Program

The Transplant Center at Froedtert Hospital provides exemplary care for adults requiring heart, lung, kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants. Our comprehensive adult transplant programs achieve survival rates that meet or exceed national standards. The Transplant Center operates as a collaborative program between Children's Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital, with essential support from Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin for tissue typing and research efforts. Representing the most extensive pediatric and adult transplant care in Wisconsin, the program is recognized for its nationally ranked outcomes and internationally acclaimed transplant specialists.

Division Overview

The Division of Nephrology comprises twenty-seven faculty members serving multiple hospitals, delivering state-of-the-art, collaborative, and patient-centered care to adults with kidney disease, hypertension, and fluid and electrolyte disorders. Key areas of focus in patient care and research include transplant nephrology, onco-nephrology, kidney stone analysis, and acute kidney injury.
