Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Program Specialist II to join our team at the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring the effective management of our housing programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the daily operations of our housing programs, including client intake, eligibility determination, and program enrollment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve program efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as AHFC policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff on program policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with Housing Quality Standards and other program requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, public administration, or business administration.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in housing program management, public administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Alaska driver's license and good driving record.
