Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Support Technician III to join our team at the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation. This is a project-based position that requires a strong understanding of grant administration, budgeting, and contracts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a full range of support duties related to planning, implementing, and evaluating programs. This includes contract oversight, budgeting, accounting, and grant administration.

The Program Support Technician III will work under the general direction of the Director or their designee to develop and provide technical assistance, drafting policy and procedures for all aspects of program management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant administration, budgeting, and contracts, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform contract oversight, budgeting, accounting, and grant administration duties
  • Develop and provide technical assistance, drafting policy and procedures for program management
  • Work with the Support Services Manager to resolve accounting issues
  • Track submittal of subgrantee/contractor reports and ensure timely filing
  • Review grants/contracts, requests for proposals, and other solicitation documentation for adherence to grants management requirements

Requirements:

  • Four years of work experience in planning, accounting, grant administration, budgeting, and contracts
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of State and Federal rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and general reporting requirements for grants and grant recipients
