Job Title: Christian News Journalist

About The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Christian news journalist to join our team in Washington D.C. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Responsibilities:

  • Cover national events and write news articles for publication in the Christian Post.
  • Conduct interviews with newsmakers and maintain contacts with news sources.
  • Develop and write engaging feature and in-depth articles on various topics of interest to our audience.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of full-time experience in news or magazine writing.
  • Expertise in AP style guidelines.
  • Agreement with The Christian Post's statement of faith.
  • Ability to work in-person in our Washington D.C. newsroom.
