Job Title: Senior Vice President, Reputation and Crisis Management

">About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Senior Vice President, Reputation and Crisis Management. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in managing clients, developing and executing crisis plans, and sourcing new business.

This role requires a trusted advisor who can provide proactive and reactive reputation management and crisis counsel to clients across various sectors, including healthcare, financial services, and technology.

The successful candidate will lead large client engagements, develop and implement crisis communications plans and supporting materials, stay abreast of industry trends, and raise the visibility of Interdependence through speaking engagements, press mentions, and published articles.

The estimated salary for this role is $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing proactive and reactive reputation management and crisis counsel to clients
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to C-Suite and other senior-level clients
  • Leading large client engagements and developing/ implementing crisis communications plans
  • Staying abreast of industry trends to identify potential emerging issues
  • Raising the visibility of Interdependence through speaking engagements, press mentions, and published articles

Requirements:

  • Between 12-15 years of previous public relations management experience, specifically focused on reputation and issues management
  • Proven experience as a trusted advisor, counseling senior clients across various industry sectors
  • Extensive experience working with reporters, journalists, and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage complex relationships diplomatically and consultatively
  • Deep understanding and ability to leverage data, analytics, and research as they pertain to reputation and crisis management
  • Ability to hire, manage, and mentor best-in-class teams
  • Creative and strategic thinking, with ability to take a long-term perspective
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills, both internally and externally
  • An entrepreneurial approach to business acquisition and proven success at driving new business
