Position Overview

Crown Consulting is in search of a motivated and skilled Program Management Support Specialist to assist in the operations of NASA's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD). While a background in aeronautics and aviation is not mandatory, a genuine interest in these fields is advantageous.

Role Responsibilities

In this collaborative team environment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization by:

  • Ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and availability of programmatic information and documentation for leadership.
  • Facilitating project management and coordination across various initiatives.
  • Providing comprehensive support for meetings and organizational functions.

The support you provide will be instrumental in assisting ARMD with the planning, management, execution, and evaluation of its core mission.

Compensation

Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience, with this position being ideal for junior to mid-level professionals.

Key Duties Include:

  • Developing, editing, and maintaining document configuration control.
  • Updating relevant information on ARMD SharePoint, including the shared calendar.
  • Assisting in the creation of Program/Project review documents and presentations.
  • Generating milestone reports based on monthly project progress updates.
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and corresponding for project and program reviews, as well as other meetings.
  • Logging and tracking action items to ensure timely completion.
  • Performing necessary administrative functions.

Qualifications Required:

  • Ability to obtain a NASA badge and laptop, and manage NASA data; access to NASA IT systems requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Willingness to work on-site, with some potential for remote work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • A relevant bachelor's degree is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a significant advantage.
