Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance tasks, boiler operations, and end-of-shift security checks.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the facility operates efficiently and safely.
- Conduct boiler blow-downs, conductivity testing, and maintain records of boiler operations.
- Handle end-of-shift shutdown activities, including shutting down compressors and securing building access points.
- Conduct monthly inspections of safety equipment, including spill carts, ladders, fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, and sprinkler systems.
- Manage inventory of janitorial supplies and replace expired light bulbs as needed.
- Operate the Abcor waste treatment system during discharge cycles.
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and policies.
- Report any suspicious or hazardous conditions to a supervisor immediately.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Forklift certification.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
