Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general facilities maintenance, boiler tending, and end-of-shift security.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine facilities maintenance tasks, including floor cleaning, general cleaning, and window washing.
- Empty trash and recyclables throughout the production facility.
- Painting and touch-ups as needed.
- Responsible for boiler blow-down, conductivity testing, and record keeping.
- Perform end-of-shift shutdown activities, including compressor shut-down and securing perimeter access points.
- Conduct monthly inspections of spill carts, ladders, fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, and sprinkler systems.
- Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and replace expired light bulbs.
- Operate the Abcor waste treatment system during discharge cycles.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and ability to cope with hazardous conditions or heavy time demands.
- Mathematical skills, including basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
- Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Forklift certification.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
