We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance level ll to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing general facilities maintenance, boiler tending, and end-of-shift security.
Responsibilities- Perform routine facilities maintenance tasks, including floor cleaning, general cleaning, window washing, and painting as needed.
- Empty trash and recyclables throughout the production facility.
- Conduct monthly inspections of spill carts, ladders, fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, and sprinkler systems.
- Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and replace expired light bulbs.
- Operate the Abcor waste treatment system during discharge cycles.
- Communicate effectively with site personnel, vendors, and customers to resolve issues and promote a safe working environment.
- Report any suspicious or hazardous conditions to a supervisor immediately.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Forklift certification.
- Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
