Position Summary
The Construction Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing construction activities, overseeing both in-house and contracted labor, and ensuring the safety and quality of work performed by the crew.

Essential Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the telecommunications sector.
  • OSHA 30 certification required within the first month of employment.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate crew or vendor activities on-site.
  • Implement company policies and procedures; enforce disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Interpret specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements.
  • Monitor work progress and site safety to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Measure and mark site locations for structures or equipment placement.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and other departments to resolve issues and coordinate activities.
  • Provide guidance to workers on construction methods, equipment operation, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and support.
  • Assist workers in construction or excavation tasks using hand tools or equipment.
  • Coordinate repairs for equipment or machinery as needed.
  • Review and manage damage claims.
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Utilize industry-specific software for project-related information.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction.
  • Understanding of safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Experience in underground, aerial, MDU, coax splicing, or fiber splicing is preferred.

Compensation: $61,000-$80,000

Work Environment: Field-based role with flexible scheduling based on operational needs; participation in on-call rotation may be required.
