Position Summary
The Construction Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing construction activities, overseeing both in-house and contracted labor, and ensuring the safety and quality of work performed by the crew.
Essential Qualifications
- Familiarity with the telecommunications sector.
- OSHA 30 certification required within the first month of employment.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Experience in supervising and motivating team members.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate crew or vendor activities on-site.
- Implement company policies and procedures; enforce disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Interpret specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements.
- Monitor work progress and site safety to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Measure and mark site locations for structures or equipment placement.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and other departments to resolve issues and coordinate activities.
- Provide guidance to workers on construction methods, equipment operation, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and support.
- Assist workers in construction or excavation tasks using hand tools or equipment.
- Coordinate repairs for equipment or machinery as needed.
- Review and manage damage claims.
- Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Utilize industry-specific software for project-related information.
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction.
- Understanding of safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Experience in underground, aerial, MDU, coax splicing, or fiber splicing is preferred.
Compensation: $61,000-$80,000
Work Environment: Field-based role with flexible scheduling based on operational needs; participation in on-call rotation may be required.
