Vaco Senior Epic Analyst II - Vaco is dedicated to empowering healthcare organizations to maximize the value derived from their technological investments and resources through a range of services including Managed Services, Data & Analytics, EHR, ERP, Advisory, Virtual Care, and Cybersecurity.

The Senior Epic Analyst II plays a crucial role in the configuration, management, and support of clinical applications within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system for healthcare clients.

This position involves handling support and maintenance requests, executing routine builds, participating in on-call rotations, and engaging in special projects such as Epic Upgrades as required by clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary analyst for Epic maintenance, configuration, and build processes.
  • Oversee client trouble tickets and requests, ensuring thorough documentation and timely resolution.
  • Lead application builds for Epic upgrades and manage Nova Note Review and Build.
  • Establish testing protocols and support go-live activities in a command center environment.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement proactively, mentor junior analysts, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and peers.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment is required.
  • Proficiency in healthcare policies, procedures, and information systems is essential.

Work Environment:
This position is primarily in-office, with potential for hybrid or remote arrangements subject to management approval.

Travel Expectations:
Minimal travel required (less than 5%).
