Director of Underwriting Research

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Underwriting Research to join our team at USAA. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal flood and state residual market regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement underwriting processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and interpret regulatory changes and communicate their impact to the team.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to meet business needs.
- Develop and manage flood insurance and residual market processes and programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of related experience.
- 8 years of experience in Property & Casualty, Project Management, Process Engineering, Business Process or Risk Management.
- 3 years of direct team lead or management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of relevant industry practices, trends, and regulatory requirements.
