Director of Underwriting Research

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Underwriting Research. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance of our flood insurance program with federal and state regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with federal flood and state residual market regulatory requirements.
- Manage vendor contracts to meet business needs and ensure effective execution.
- Develop and manage flood insurance and residual market processes and programs to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Monitor and analyze the regulatory and legislative landscape to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in property and casualty insurance, project management, process engineering, or business process.
- 3+ years of direct team lead or management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of industry practices, trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven skills in developing strong relationships with peers and business stakeholders.
