Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Program Manager to join our team at Northwell Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, planning, organizing, supporting, and evaluating daily administrative operations for one or more defined compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research compliance billing programs, including written plans of activities and implementation plans.
  • Ensure the implementation and evaluation of research billing policies and procedures, reviewing them for consistency with applicable regulations and professional standards.
  • Participate in the assessment of research compliance risk areas and assist with billing/documentation and regulatory risk assessments.
  • Determine audit or monitoring objectives, scope, and procedure, and conduct audits or monitoring of ongoing research studies to ensure practices are consistent with applicable regulations, policies, departmental standards, and regulatory approvals.
  • Review data, such as claims detail, coding, and medical record documentation to determine compliance with appropriate coding and documentation requirements.
  • Draft reports detailing audit findings and communicate with research stakeholders.
  • Promote overall compliance with research billing through participation in education and training activities for professional staff.
  • Provide general compliance education and support to audit and facility staff involved in research billing.
  • Collaborate with internal audit, and faculty practice and corporate compliance to minimize overlap in compliance activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
