Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to users facing various IT challenges
- Install and maintain hardware and software systems
- Physically relocate IT equipment as necessary
- Manage user accounts effectively
- Monitor and troubleshoot IT systems
- Utilize trouble tickets to track and resolve issues
- Conduct training sessions for users
- Keep an inventory of IT equipment
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in providing direct support to end-users for various applications, including both phone and in-person assistance.
- Certain applications may necessitate certification from the software provider.
- Previous experience in teaching or training related to computer applications, particularly in database, imaging, or automated litigation support, is highly preferred.
- Must possess hands-on familiarity with the network, telecommunications, and operating systems relevant to the applications being supported.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automated litigation support is advantageous.
- Familiarity with DOJ office automation environments is extremely beneficial; candidates should be proficient users of government word processing, spreadsheet, and email systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
- A pleasant telephone demeanor is important. An undergraduate degree is valued.
