Clinical Nurse Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Mentor to join our Emergency Department team at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse Mentor, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering high-quality nursing care to our patients.
Job Responsibilities:- Orient, educate, and develop nursing staff to ensure competence and ability to fulfill specified responsibilities.
- Provide support to novice and advanced nurses and preceptors to ensure a smooth transition into practice and the work environment.
- Participate in the design, delivery, and evaluation of educational programs to promote clinical development and career progression from novice to proficient nurse for new or existing clinicians.
- BSN - Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- 3 years of progressive experience in clinical nursing in designated specialty; experience serving as a preceptor
- Basic Life Support via American Heart Association
- Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
