Work Schedule: Full-Time

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Role Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, you will primarily manage CT and MR imaging studies that necessitate advanced processing post-image acquisition. You will adhere to AdventHealth protocols to construct intricate three-dimensional images and support department educators with the Quality Assurance program. Additionally, you will serve as a resource for all CT and MR personnel regarding departmental processes, protocols, and equipment concerns, while fostering professional relationships with referring physicians, radiologists, and hospital staff.

  • Processing all examinations as designated by the 3D Imaging Laboratory, adhering to established protocols with high productivity.
  • Communicating effectively with relevant departments after completing urgent exams.
  • Utilizing various post-processing software proficiently.
  • Reviewing studies for quality assurance and addressing any quality concerns with performing technologists.
  • Consulting with radiologists on quality issues and providing educational support to scanning technologists.
  • Acting as a resource for CT and MR staff regarding processes, protocols, and equipment.
  • Performing technologist quality assurance for designated modalities as required.
  • Assisting in the training of new 3D Laboratory technologists as assigned.

Qualifications for Success:

Required:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in CT and/or MR imaging.
  • A valid State of Florida license as a General Radiographer.
  • ARRT (R) certification and either ARRT (CT) or ARRT (MR).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiological Science.
  • Experience with PACS, particularly AGFA systems.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • A comprehensive understanding of CT or MR protocols.
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
