We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teacher Assistant at Guidepost Montessori. As a key member of our educational community, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced teachers and staff to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and implementing educational activities and lessons
  • Provide individualized support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a sense of community and respect among students and staff
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children aged 1-6
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Preferred familiarity with Montessori approach and philosophy
