Job Description

As a Leave Coordinator at Beacon Hill Associates - Charlotte, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer responsiveness to communications received from HR staff and employees.

  • You will serve as the primary point of contact for administration of accommodation claims, informing employees of documentation required to process these claims, and ensuring timely updates to the case management system.
  • Additionally, you will request medical information to determine if employees meet the requirements under federal ADA, state, and/or Charter requirements for a qualifying condition.

You will achieve and maintain expertise in navigating various business systems/applications, including HR data (PeopleSoft), case management tracking (HR Helpdesk), and vendor websites.

This role requires knowledge of labor and employment laws, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer responsive support to HR staff and employees, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Accommodation Claims Administration: Manage the processing of accommodation claims, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
  • Clinical Reasoning: Evaluate employee requests for accommodations, considering medical documentation and legal requirements.
  • System Navigation: Develop expertise in multiple business systems, utilizing this knowledge to efficiently manage cases and provide accurate information to stakeholders.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with employees, HR staff, and vendors, using clear and concise language to convey important information.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in human resources, recruiting, or related fields is essential for success in this role.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with labor and employment laws, including federal ADA, state, and Charter requirements.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to build rapport with all employees.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000, based on industry standards and location.
