About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Science Products and Programs to join our team at Wound and Burn Centers of America. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of science-driven products and programs that improve employee experience for our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and Drive Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product portfolio, aligning with our organization's goals of improving employee experience through scalable, data-and science-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with Science and Engineering Teams: Work closely with our science and engineering teams to develop and integrate state-of-the-art AI models, focusing on leveraging emerging AI technologies like large language models, causal machine learning, and sentiment analysis.
  • Engage with Senior Leaders: Engage directly with our most senior leaders to deeply understand their workforce needs and translate them into innovative AI-powered product capabilities. Continuously gather stakeholder and user feedback to improve the product.
  • Define Clear Goals and Objectives: Define clear goals, objectives, and success metrics in the planning and execution space, identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and rigorously measuring business impact through data and experimentation.
  • Deliver Comprehensive Product Documentation: Deliver comprehensive product documentation, including 3-Year Plans, Vision documents, PR/FAQs, Business Requirement Documents, and AI ethics guidelines, to ensure responsible development of GenAI.
  • Influence Business Strategy: Influence priorities and business strategy across our organization through quantitative analysis, data-driven recommendations, and demonstrating the transformative potential of applying advanced AI to improve employee experience.
  • Manage and Mentor a Team: Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering an innovative culture of working backwards from customer needs to build powerful AI solutions.
About the Team

Our Central Science team uses economics, behavioral science, statistics, and machine learning to identify mechanisms and process improvements that simultaneously improve our organization and the lives of our team members. We invest in innovation and rapid prototyping of scientific models and software to develop and deliver solutions that measurably contribute to achieving our goals.
