Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in Madison, WI. The successful candidate will provide effective customer service for all internal and external customers by establishing a working relationship and using excellent, in-depth knowledge of our products and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on our Vision and Guiding Principles, considering the best interest of Artful Home and its team members, artists, and customers
  • Contribute to an environment where all team members are respected and included, regardless of their individual differences
  • Answer incoming calls and interact with customers via email or live chat
  • Resolve product or service problems by listening to customers and clarifying their concerns
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges, calculate charges, and process billing or payments
  • Provide information about our products and services, and take advantage of opportunities to upsell
  • Act as a liaison between customers and artists regarding information, special requests, and customer orders
  • Enter all required information into our computer systems and maintain accurate customer records
  • Prepare reports, statistics, and correspondences accurately and on time
  • Participate in departmental teams and tasks as assigned
  • Support and assist other departments with special projects and tasks
  • Enhance our organization's success by accepting ownership of new tasks and opportunities
Requirements
  • Ability to make responsible decisions and use good judgment
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment with a service-driven mindset
  • Ability to effectively deal with stressful situations and calmly resolve issues
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and ensure accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and professionally with customers and artists

  • Two or more years of related experience, particularly in a retail environment
